Thiago is a percussionist, composer and educator who lives in São Paulo. Involved in the world of marching music since the age of 8, Thiago began playing in the marching band of Colégio Consolata (2000). Soon after, he moved on to the world of drum corps, where he marched in the Progresso Drum & Brass Corps (2001 - 2010) and in the Brazilian Vanguard (2011).
Always very interested in the educational side, he worked as a volunteer until 2018 at the Brazilian Vanguard, where he started as a drum assistant (2011) and took on the responsibility of percussion caption head (2012-2018). During this time, he had the opportunity to make arrangements and compose materials for the Vanguard percussion.
He has a degree in music with a specialization in composition and continues his studies with a focus on a degree and sees the opportunity to contribute to the marching music movement by bringing original pieces, with a focus on the group's performance and entertainment. In addition, he invests in his career as a composer with a focus on working with soundtracks, works as an educator at Colégio Passionista São Paulo da Cruz, Colégio Palavra Viva and is the Battery Captain of the Shadow Scouts Marching Band. Here, he always intends to deliver original compositions and musical education.
